Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed mechanical drawings, 2D layouts, and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent).

• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to create accurate drawings.

• Assist engineers in the design and modification of mechanical components and assemblies.

• Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, design guidelines, and applicable industry codes.

• Update and maintain drawing libraries, documentation, and revision histories.

• Conduct basic tolerance, dimensioning, and material application to ensure manufacturability.

• Support prototype development, testing, and preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials).

• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into drawings.

• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines

• Conduct data analysis and presentation slide drafting.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

• Fresh grads are welcome to apply.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and drafting standards.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, fabrication, plastics).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
