Job Responsibilities:
- Define test requirements, test plan and test methods for both new and redesign PCBAs with the understanding of the design acceptance criteria.
- Design test cases and scenarios based on product specifications, user applications and design documents.
- Develop test scripts, automated test suites, and test fixtures to execute test cases effectively.
- Identify defects and anomalies in product behaviour, document issues thoroughly, and communicate findings to PCBA design engineers.
- Document and maintain test plan, test cases, test results and other testing-related artifacts.
- Planning and purchasing of the required test equipment.
- Handover of test setup and test documentation to production and final buyoff.
- Close cooperation with the R&D engineers and project manager throughout the project phase.
Job Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant working experience in a related field.
- Proficient in the use of test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), power supplies, pattern generators, and related tools.
- Familiar with test suite such as Labview or similar software.
- Familiar with analysis of test- or measurement data using MS Excel or more specific statistical data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, MatLab or Statistica).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Hands-on experience in test jig and test system commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
