Field Service Engineer (Software)

Roles and Responsibilities

•Provide on-site software installation and technical support to customers, resolving complex issues related to automation software systems.

•Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems in a timely and efficient manner.

•Communicate technical solutions to customers in a clear and concise manner.

•Provide training and guidance to customers on preventive maintenance and issue resolution.

•Maintain accurate and up to date user/training and troubleshooting manuals

•Travel to customer sites (including international sites) to provide hands-on technical support.

•Dynamic work-shifts maybe required on need basis.



•Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering

•Experienced in software testing and maintenance.

•Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.

•Ability to work under pressure and dynamic environment.

•Strong software troubleshooting skills in Windows and Linux environment.

•Experienced in automation software support and maintenance is an advantage.

•Ability to develop software scripts and troubleshooting tools is an advantage.

•Knowledge of SECS/GEM and SEMI standards is an advantage.
