Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for manual machining of precision mechanical parts to required tolerance.
• Be able to perform fast set-up and use machining accessories to ensure the fabricated parts meet the quality specifications.
• Able to perform shift duties as and when required.
• Be committed to achieving production plans and quality of fabricated products.
• To undertake any other related duties assigned or dedicated by your superior from time to time.
• Comply with the working rules and procedures of the workshop department.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring tools and instruments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and support continual improvement.
• Perform machine routine maintenance and ensure the tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• To liaise with any other department on Quality Issues and take the necessary corrective measures to prevent recurrences.
• To establish machining methods for product to achieve optimization of resources.
• To provide machining records and other performance indexes to your superior whenever required

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  • Minimum certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Experience:
  • 3-4 years milling experience.
  • Machining experience through apprentice scheme in tool or die or related field.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good interpretation of engineering drawing with strong attention to details.
• Experience and skilled machinist with some foundation of CNC milling is and added advantage.
• Proven experience in manual milling operations.
• Ability to follow workflow procedures and instruction from traveler of the ERP System.
