R&D Technician

Job Highlights:

• R&D technicians are responsible for assisting engineers in assembling prototypes and perform experiments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor experiments based on the test plan and record the experimental outcomes. Technicians are not expected to perform analysis of the experimental results.
• Help troubleshoot problems with mechanical components & electrical components.
• Help keep the R&D room organized and tidy. This includes sorting, storing and keeping records of components and fasteners.
• Provide feedback on prototype design to engineers, such as assembly issues etc.
• Help train other technicians in production on assembly process.
• Any others job assigns by engineers.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Robotic
• Fresh graduate or 1 to 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Able to understand technical drawings and written work instructions (written in English).
• Being organized and able to keep their workplace and their work neat and tidy.
