Roles and Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineering Manager, you will lead our team of Sales Engineers, driving customer engagement and business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership and Strategy:
    • Lead and manage a team of Sales Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success in customer engagement and sales.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies in alignment with the company’s goals, driving revenue and market expansion.

 

  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Oversee and facilitate the development of strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing opportunities with potential customers.
    • Act as a key point of contact for high-level customer inquiries and engage in strategic discussions to address client needs.

 

  • Technical Expertise and Solutions Development:
    • Collaborate with the team to understand customer technical requirements and ensure proposed solutions meet their needs.
    • Drive innovation by proposing enhancements to existing products/services and spearheading the development of new solutions.

 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Presentation:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with customer requirements.
    • Deliver high-level technical presentations and engage in strategic discussions with clients, highlighting our product capabilities.

 

  • Sales Performance and Reporting:
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for the management team, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on technical solutions and team leadership.
  • Required 8 to 10 years of experience in sales engineering manager.
  • Extensive background in semiconductor manufacturing and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Draftsight, or other CAD software.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and team development.
